FNR COVID-19 Call: Update

For the current FNR COVID19 fast track call, the FNR aims to foster interdisciplinary projects and institutional cooperation among public research institutions. In the project ideas on the national COVID-10 Platform, we have noticed a significant number of project ideas that could complement each other and would lend themselves to synergies.

Therefore, the FNR decided to offer top-up funding of up to 30.000 EUR for projects where complementary expertise from different fields are bundled.

Interdisciplinary projects which involve researchers from different disciplines with complementary expertise that are based in different research departments or faculties or centres or institutes are eligible for a maximum budget of 80 k EUR.
Joint projects of researchers with complementary expertise in different research groups but within the same department/faculty are not eligible to apply for the top-up.
