The FNR is pleased to share the newest podcast in the collaboration with Lëtzebuerger Journal. Titled ‘Mäin Element’, the series features researchers in Luxembourg talking about their lives and their passion for science, showing a glimpse of the people behind the science. The sixth episode features photovoltaics researcher Prof Phillip Dale.
In 2008, British national Phillip Dale arrived in Luxembourg as the first ever FNR ATTRACT Fellow, setting up his energy materials (physics.uni.lu) group at the University of Luxembourg, where the group researches in the field of photovoltaics. Educating young people is essential for Dale, who organises the outreach project Energy Balance, which involves school students investigating if they can live using only renewable energy resources.
