New ‘Mäin Element’ podcast episode: Leslie Ogorzaly

The FNR is pleased to share the newest podcast episode in the collaboration with Lëtzebuerger Journal. The ‘Mäin Element’ podcast series features researchers in Luxembourg talking about their lives and their passion for science, showing a glimpse of the people behind the science. The 15th episode features virologist Leslie Ogorzaly.

In this episode, we meet Leslie Ogorzaly. We hold our breath and dive into Luxembourg’s sewage treatment plants, where Leslie gets the samples for her research in the area of virology and epidemiology. For example, in the “Corona Step” project this was done to see how many traces of the coronavirus could be found at the sewage treatment plants.
