TRAINING “HOW TO DESIGN A HANDS-ON WORKSHOP” – FULLY BOOKED!!!

Do you plan to submit a proposal for a workshop at the Researchers’ Days or Science Festival? The FNR is organising an interactive training session for researchers and science communicators, with tips and tricks on how to present research through fun, hands-on science activities. The session will take place on Thursday, 16 June 2022. 

Science Festivals, Researchers’ Days, Open Days… There are numerous occasions on which the general public invited to come and exchange with researchers. What defines a successful science workshop? How can you catch the public’s attention? How do you explain your research to a lay audience?

In this science communication training, we will present best practices of past events and give you ideas on how to communicate your work through fun, interactive and easily understandable workshops for the general public. The training is offered in English only.
