Submitted Abstract
The NTTI/NGS 2018 conference joined the conferences on “New Trends in Topological Insulators” and “Narrow Gap Systems”. The conference lasted for four full days, and we were very happy to attract some of the most high-profile speakers in the fields, e.g., Leo Kouwenhoven and Andrei Bernevig. The 21 invited speakers presented 40min talks on their latest research. Moreover, there were 34 contributed talks of 20min. Finally, there was a poster session to allow also more junior scientists to present their research. As social events, we organized a conference dinner as well as a conference excursion.
