About the talk
Since the begin of January 2017, the Luxembourg Centre of Neuropathology (LCNP) has been established and covers a diagnostic unit at the LNS. Furthermore, two research groups located at the Luxembourg Centre of Systems Biomedicine (LCSB, focus on neurodegeneration) and Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH, focus on neurooncology) belong to the LCNP.
The talk will cover clinical aspects of neuropathology including brain tumors, neurodegenerative, neuropediatric (including gastrointestinal motility disorders such as Hirschsprung disease), peripheral neuromuscular, neurovascular and neuroinflammatory disorders as well as aspects of forensic neuropathology. Therefore the talk will be of interest for a broad spectrum of clinical colleagues.
In addition, clinical scientists or basic researchers are welcome since very recent diagnostic innovations such as epigenetic profiling of neurological disorders will be also adressed.
The event is co-organised by the Luxembourg Society of Neurology (SLN) and generously supported by ROCHE.
