M-ERA.NET Call 2016 is open!

35 funding agencies from 26 countries participate with a preliminary total budget of around 40 MEUR.

The aim is to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation including materials for low carbon energy technologies and related production technologies.

M-ERA.NET aims to strengthen the contribution of materials R&D to energy-related applications where applicable.

Deadlines

Submissions have to be done through the online submission system of the MERANET website.

  • Deadline for mandatory pre-proposals: 14 June 2016, 12 noon Brussels time.
  • Feedback to applicants and invitation to submit a full-proposal: Mid-September 2016
  • Deadline for full-proposals: 10 November 2016, 12 noon Brussels time
  • Feedback to applicants: January 2017

About M-ERA.NET

M-ERA.NET is an EU funded network which, established in 2012 to support and increase the coordination of European research and innovation programmes and related funding in materials science and engineering.

Between 2016 and 2021, the M-ERA.NET consortium will continue to contribute to the restructuring of the European Research Area (ERA) by operating a single innovative and flexible network of national and regional funding organisations.

M-ERA.NET contributes to EU policies and is complementary to funding schemes at regional, national and European levels, supporting the exploitation of knowledge along the whole innovation chain from basic research to applied research and innovation.
