Luxembourg Science Center now open for the public

Today, Thursday 5 October, the Luxembourg Science Center officially opens its doors the public. The new Centre is supported by grants from the FNR’s PSP-Classic programme and has recently also been awarded a PSP-Flagship grant. The Center was inaugurated by Prime Minister Xavier Bettel at an interactive event yesterday.

Located in the former industrial school (“Léierbud”) of ArcelorMittal in Differdange, the mission of the Luxembourg Science Center is to fascinate visitors for natural sciences and technology in a playful manner. It features a broad range of interactive exhibits and experimental stations designed to encourage children, teenagers but also adults to experience natural phenomena themselves instead of just observing them.
