Job opportunity at FNR: Grant System & Administrative Manager

To strengthen our teams within the Administration of R&D Programmes Team and the IT Team, we seek to recruit for an immediate opening a Grant System & Administrative Manager (m/f) on a permanent full-time contract (CDI). Deadline to apply has been extended to Friday, 15 January 2021.

Your function

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of FNR’s Grant Management System; this includes designing workflows and online submission forms
  • You will assist with the management and monitoring of grant applications and the communication with beneficiaries and the research community
  • You will provide technical support for both FNR’s stakeholders and employees

Your profile

  • You have an IT Degree or similar qualifications (BAC +2, BTS)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • You show commitment to supporting new technology implementation.
  • You have patience and the ability to train users in both new and existing IT systems.
  • You have experience in optimising IT-related work processes
  • You have experience in IT project management
  • You have excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • You possess excellent knowledge of office 365 applications
  • Programming skills (JavaScript, Python, MySQL) are considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential (add references if possible)
  • Good spoken and written German or French (Luxembourgish is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
  • Sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Interest in science
