Luxinnovation together with its partners Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg (IBBL), Laboratoire national de santé (LNS), Luxembourg Center for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) and Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) are hosting an international conference and networking event celebrating 10 years of medical breakthrough funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) on Friday, 14 December 2018.

The objectives of this event are twofold:
- Dissemination of IMI project outcomes
- Networking between private companies and public health research
This event addresses participants from the entire healthcare value chain such as hospitals, academia, research infrastructures and biotech and pharmaceutical companies, open to new opportunities for collaboration in IMI and beyond.
The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is a unique partnership between the European Union and the European pharmaceutical industry that funds research projects based on direct industry needs. IMI facilitates open collaboration in research to advance the development of, and accelerate patient access to, personalised medicines for the health and wellbeing, especially in areas of unmet medical need.
