FNR training for researchers: how to present scientific evidence to politicians

How to present scientific evidence to politicians: The FNR’s training for researchers takes place on the 19 and 20 of April 2023.  *Registration now closed*

Do you want to increase the chances of your research influencing important decisions? Great, but you need to understand how policy makers work in order to avoid that scientific evidence falls on deaf ears.  

In this workshop, you’ll learn practical techniques for tailoring your message to the political audience, communicating complex data effectively, and navigating the political landscape.    

Programme and trainer 

The same training will be held two times on two different dates. You can register for only one of the following sessions:  

19.04.23

  • 13h15: registration and welcome coffee 
  • 13h30-17h30 Training 

OR 

20.04.23

  • 8 h15 – 8h30 : registration and welcome coffee 
  • 8h 30- 12h30 : Training 

The training will be held by Daniel Saraga, science communication specialist, Saraga Communications. 

During the training, the the Chamber’s Scientific Unit (Cellule Scientifique) will speak about their work and their experience in working with politicians.
