EURAXESS Luxembourg is the national contact providing information and assistance to help researcher mobility. Researchers as well as recruiters – both institutions and small companies – can benefit from a range of free services.
About EURAXESS’ services
EURAXESS Luxembourg provides free advice and guidance to international researchers moving to or from Luxembourg to develop their research career.
In particular, it offers essential advice to help newcomers in all the administrative procedures.
Euraxess provides two useful and informative tools, the website and Foreign’ researchers guide to Luxembourg, which helps international researchers and their families from all over the world through their process of relocating to Luxembourg.
It offers a clear overview of the research landscape in Luxembourg, as well as the legal frameworks concerning key topics such as employment, entry conditions, visa procedures, taxation, social security, health care, as well as relevant information about housing and daily life.
The guide is not only meant for researchers who come to work and live in Luxembourg but it also constitutes a practical manual for HR departments of public and private institutions to consult when they intend to hire foreign researchers.
EURAXESS Luxembourg is part of EURAXESS, a pan-European network with over 260 service centres located in 40 countries.
Its aim is to enhance researchers’ mobility within and towards Europe and to contribute to making Europe a centre of excellence in research.
EURAXESS Luxembourg is managed by the University of Luxembourg.
