The FNR is pleased to announce the call for talented young researchers to participate as Luxembourg delegates at the 7th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences, which takes place from 25 – 29 August 2020 in Lindau, Germany. Deadline to apply to attend is Monday, 4 November 2019.

About the meeting

Every three years, The Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings and the Foundation Lindau Nobel Prize winners organise the Lindau Meeting of the Laureates of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, where ca. 20 Laureates congregate with approximately 400 young talented economists from all over the globe.

About the programme

The Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences provides an open exchange of economic expertise and inspires cross-cultural and inter-generational encounters among economists from all over the world.

The programme features a broad variety of content including lectures, round table discussions and special discussion sessions. The aim of the meetings’ various sessions and social activities is determined by the guiding principle “Educate. Inspire. Connect.” For young researchers who stand at the beginning of their careers, it is a valuable opportunity to meet the luminaries of their discipline, to seek their advice in special technical issues or in personal matters, to exchange thoughts and views, and to discuss current developments in economic science and the world.
